The partnership, called Sacramento Latino CompleteCounyt Committee, will try to boost the numbefr of Latinos who mail back their census questionnairez and increase awareness in the Latino community about non-responsr follow-up efforts. The chamber and its partners will hold a summitg in September to educate organizations and community leaders about the importancwe of obtaining a complete count of theLatino “Because Latinos are historically under-counted, we want to make sure that over the next few every community leader, business, religious government agency and nonprofit organization is promotinf the Census to Latinos,” Steve chamber president and chief executive officer, said in a news Partners in the effort include Univision, Bustoss Media, the League of United Latin American Citizens, Openin g Doors and members of the Sacramento City Unified Schoo l District board.
