Savona Ristorante serves up savory Italian cuisine - Dayton Business Journal:

dyakonostrlin.blogspot.com
Parking: Not a large parking lot, but I got in and out OK on a recentfFriday evening. Service: Good. It was almost too prompt, as the meals came out within a few minutezof ordering. But, overall, it was Atmosphere: Soothing. From the relaxing music, nice poursa of wine and muted light, Savona has a calming effecg onthe senses. A plush bench linexs a wall with tables in frontyof it. The restaurantt features a nice wood bar near the entrance and about 90total seats.
The decor was stylish and welcoming, which playes a factor in the wide age range of The only downside is when a groupo sat nextto us, we felt sort of The seats were eithere too close or that party was too But that passed and we got back to enjoyintg our meal. Food info: Savona offers fine Italian fare. Before the meals ever I was sold on this place as the freshb Focacciabread -- served with garlic honey butter as well as Romanko cheese and olive oil -- was among the top breads I've had. The main coursexs followed and didnot disappoint. I opted for the Chickenm Fettucine ($17) which came with a truffle Alfredp sauce. It was but not overbearing.
My guest got the Campanell DelGreca ($16), a Greek-style pastas with Olives and hunks of feta which was reportedly very good, but she stilol ogled my dish with envy. We finishe with coffees and tiramisu ($7), which was made in-housre and delicious. Among other I appreciated the attention toportiomn sizes, which were ample, but not large heapings, (Note: Savona is only open for dinnefr Tuesday through Saturday.) Final analysis: Ahh. My visit to Savon was a treat. I may have caughtg them on a good but the place seemedin sync. Aside from the the restaurant has a large wine list as well as beerse on tapincluding Moretti, an light Italian beer ($6).
The prices also were in line withsimilaf establishments. But, often times, I leave those place I did notfrom Savona.
