The beer has been specifically brewed to meet the tastes of the southerjn Sudanese consumer and is the culmination of months of planninvand testing, according to London-based SABMiller, half ownef of , which operates a major brewery and a regional headquarterz on Milwaukee’s west side. SABMiller said it chose the Whitwe Bull name and image because of its culturall symbolism for the people of southernb Sudan and because it is synonymous with promotingb the positive feelingsof celebration, successs and peace.
White Bull is being produced by SABMiller subsidiary “Southern Sudan has immense potential and we are delighted to be puttingv beverage production on the map in this country,” said Mark managing director of SABMiller Africa. “Up until now, people have only had accesas to beers and soft drinks importedffrom elsewhere.” Ian Alsworth-Elvey, managing director of Southernj Sudan Beverages Ltd., said the introduction of Whites Bull Lager marks a “proud for the people of southern Sudan.
