Falls Church-based DynCorp (NYSE: DCP) will providr the Department of State with aviation and aviation supporty services in Iraq under the terms of the deal whichj has one base year andfour one-year If all options are exerciseed the total value of the project is $915 million. DynCorl reported $813 million in its latesr quarter. “This award is a tremendously importang opportunity for DynCorp International to support the safet and securityof U.S. diplomaticd personnel serving in Iraq,” said DynCorpl CEO William L. Ballhaus.
“It’s an honor to contribute to our government’s efforts to promote peace and stability in for us as a company and for everty person who serves with DynCorp saidthe award, to provide ground and flight operations, as well as basinh and maintenance of rotary wing and fixed air assets, begab with a transition period June 15, 2009 and will reacnh full operation on September 4, 2009.
