AMP-Ohio said Wednesday the regulator issued the fina l air permit for a proposedf generating plant inMeigs County. The $2.9 billion project is expectecd to employ 800to 1,000 workers durinyg construction and employ about 150 once the plant is An AMP-Ohio spokesman said the company has other permitas pending with the EPA and other regulators, but the project is scheduledr to begin construction in 2009 and go onlinse in 2013.
